When Chris got in touch with us through our Wiltshire Kitchens & Applicances website, she was unsure what was possible, what could be done, and even what she really wanted. After a number of showroom visits to discuss possibilities and some varying designs created, she decided that the main focal point was to be the breakfast bar with seating all around to divide the kitchen from the living room, and to create a brighter space compared to her previous kitchen.
By extending the kitchen out past the pillar, this added extra storage space which was welcomed as Chris loves to cook from scratch and needed the extra space. The addition of the tall larder units (one of which is used to house her boiler and overflow storage) added to this and gave a very simple flow, as everything is now in close quarters to the hob, sink, integrated fridge and oven.
The clean lines of the H-Line were important to Chris as the smooth, sleek look was important for modernising the room with the bonus of “no shiny handles to scrub clean!” The quartz worktops were also a necessity for Chris as she had had dark granite previously and while she appreciated the quality of natural stone, by choosing quartz it allowed for a much paler worktop adding brightness and keeping with the sleek style of the rest of the kitchen.
Whilst initially unsure about the Autumn Blush for the wall units, she decided to just go for it. As you can see from the pictures, the correct decision was made!
