Hardwick Shaker Kitchen

Kitchen Style: Hardwick
Colour / Finish:
Panted wood in Oxford Blue and Scots grey
Worktops:
Bianco Crystalo 30mm

Our first “Z” shaped kitchen!

Although this was a very quirky space Mark & Angela had lived there for some years so had clear ideas as to how they wanted the room to work. As it happened there were very few major changes needed to the initial layout and imagery we created, Deciding on the image for the custom printed glass splashback… well that was another story.

Although narrow, they really wanted a small seating area so they could relax and chat in the evening while one of them was cooking. The new round oak ‘table top’ on the worktop allowed this and also complimented the oak worktop section in the dining room that was re-used from the previous kitchen. Additionally, Oak was used in various places throughout the design to warm up the generally cool colour palette.

Being highly versatile and very cost effective, AluSplash was used behind all the ‘messy’ worktop areas to give great easy wipe protection to the walls while still complimenting the worktop.
