Sue & Eric were converting the stables (there was still straw on the floor at our first visit) next door to their Daughter and son in laws house. They had a total clean slate for all the internal works and were keen to have a large open plan kitchen dining area.
They wanted clean, bright, simple lines and lots of storage but as the focus of their re-location was to be near their grandchildren a family friendly area for dining and playing was the main priority. The door choice was steered by the childproof robustness of our Sutton door
Having always had houses with stunning views, their new home was lacking a little in this regard and so a custom glass splashback (3.6 meters long) with a favourite family spot in panorama was created and fills the area along the back wall.
